Investors select Park City as the ideal place to play for many of the same reasons residents choose to live here. With an International airport approximately thirty minutes away and three world class ski resorts virtually touching boundaries, it's no wonder that Park City is a well known vacation destination.

When searching for property, it's important to recognize that the Park City market is complex and is composed of many "micro markets" that vary tremendously in value even though they are located in very close proximity to one another.

One tip that will help you in your search for Park City property is ... hire a local expert. You'll save yourself time and effort while getting to know the local market and avoid unnecessary frustrations. Select an experienced realtor who belongs to the Park City Multiple List Service and whose primary Board affiliation is the Park City Board of Realtors. (An agent's primary board indicates where they conduct the majority of their business). If your Realtor meets these qualifications, the chances are high that they specialize in the Park City market and will have a vast local knowledge base.
